Five ways to save on corporation tax

What is corporation tax?

Corporation tax in the UK is a tax on the profits of limited companies and other corporate entities. It's levied on their profits from their business activities, both in the UK and abroad.

You must pay Corporation Tax on profits from doing business as:

The current corporation tax rate 2023/24 for company profits is 25%.

If your company made more than £250,000 profit, you will pay the main rate of Corporation Tax.

If your company made a profit of £50,000 or less, you will pay the ‘small profits rate’, which is 19%.
